Negatives: Bad odor as if the room hasn’t been used for months. Dusty, floors not vacuumed. Bathroom old and outdated.

Negatives: The TV didn't work.

Negatives: I didn't like the gap in the door. If I was with just my grandkids I would have ask for another room. It was 102.

Negatives: Staff was not professional. No laundry bag in room. Breakfast was not up to standard.

Negatives: The fact that no one was at the desk Saturday waited over an hr for someone to show my key card had disabled

Negatives: We sent a message to the property explaining that my husband is a heart failure patient and requires a ground floor room if no elevator is available. We asked to be informed concerning that. We received a message back saying they were expecting us with no comment about the elevator. We assumed that it would not be a problem. When we arrived at 5PM, we learned that they did not save us a first floor room, and that we would have to climb 16 steps straight up to our room. There was a major event in town, so no other rooms, even though the desk person offered us a refund. A caring man helped my husband up the stairs, almost carrying his body weight And even took our luggage up the stairs. He was not an employee of your hotel. We managed because of him, but never again! The lady helping in the dining area next morning was very kind.

Negatives: We paid cash! Staff had difficulty with giving change for the cost and disrupted us at our room for additional deposit for paying cash. Result was holding more funds than needed for the stay! As we were enjoying our 20 year anniversary the following morning around 9:30 am. The housekeeper opened up the door and saw my husband and I completely naked in our bed. We soon afterwards decided for the last hour of our stay we would take a walk to window shop before checking out and left our belongings in our room. Upon our return to take it easy before our check out , we are hassled by the key not working. My husband has to spend 10 min. Of our last 30 min. Activating our key. To the staff’s knowledge we checked out! But our belongings were still in the room! Our deposit plus some was still being held by the motel staff! When we were invaded by housekeeping there was no knock! Unless you have customers that leave their deposit and give no warning that I fail to understand that our key was turned off and privacy interrupted before the time to check out that we have such hassle at all! In our case the staff had held onto more money than required when paying in cash, hassled after the fact but it left us $10 total in our pocket. I would understand if check out was up and we were not out of our room. But still we left on foot with our belongings in the room and cell phone that was a clear sign we was planning on returning along with deposit held for it to be clear we weren’t finished!
