Positives:
The room was modern and clean. Carpet is looking dated, but otherwise, it had what you would expect of a mid-range family room.
Negatives:
The reception staff was the worst I've ever encountered in my life. I have been ill and mostly bedridden for over 6 months and was only traveling to St. Louis to be with my 6 year old son while he had surgery at Barnes-Jewish Children's Hospital. My hair in my license photo is about shoulder length, and I've gained weight since the photo was taken, but the woman overseeing the front desk basically accused me of stealing someone else's license and credit card at check-in. She was so incredibly rude and cruel, but I didn't want to have to try to find somewhere else to stay as my son has severe autism and he was sick of being in the car. Plus, we had to be up at 4:30 a.m. for his surgery the following day. She took an already stressful experience and made it so much worse, plus added humiliation to the equation.

The location was great.
The building was nice.
Negatives:
Understaffed. The people who were working did a wonderful job. I felt bad for the lady who was working solo in the kitchen. She was getting bombarded from everyone who was trying to get breakfast. As much as she tried, she just couldn't keep up. Luckily, she had a maintenance man who helped what he could, but in the end, it is noticeable that two people should run breakfast. Especially on weekends. Another situation I noticed was the front desk lady. She was just about to go home when I got back for the night. That was around 11:30 PM. It was sad to see her there bright and early the next morning working the front desk again. Even though you can tell she was tired, she was pleasant and professional.

The breakfast was very good, but what was great about breakfast was the gentleman taking care of the breakfast and dining room. He was SO pleasant and friendly and you could tell that he took pride in keeping everything clean and that everyone was happy.
