The room size was larger than expected.

The drug den nature of the room.
Specific examples include;
1. 4 inch knife under the bed mattress
2. Broken glass pipe on floor of bathroom
3. Fire/smoke detector clogged with tissues/toilet paper to prevent smoke detector from triggering
4. Drug paraphernalia stuffed into a Christmas stocking and left over the light fixture of the bathroom
5. Lack of any basic amenities (soap, shampoo, etc)
6. Freezer filled with disgusting colored ice
7. Not all pillows had pillow cases
8. No operational phone in the room
9. 300% up charge due to the eclipse
10. Hotel not secure. Anyone can walk in through the back annex at any time of night.

They gave us a room with no heat and a broken latch that supposed to be for safety purposes which looked like it had been kicked in!! the heater that was provided for the room didn’t work ,my husband went to the front desk and they gave us another one, but I felt like if the room doesn’t have heat why not put it out of order until it gets the maintenance it needs instead of trying to be greedy and just to sell the room, making your guests uncomfortable!!
