Positives:
The room was very nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced for a hotel. The public areas reflected that it was once a train station. I liked the open area courtyard outside my room.
Negatives:
The layout of this very large public area was confusing. There were no signs directing you from the entrance to the registration desk. The elevator from the street entrance to the main floor was hidden behind a door with no signs to direct you there.

Breakfast was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have bottled water replenished. The light show in the evenings was spectacular.
Negatives:
The internet connection was poor. I had to go to reception and have them work to get our internet connected so I could retrieve our tickets for the hockey game. The menu in the lobby was quite restrictive and we were unable to find anywhere else to eat on the property after 9:30

My girlfriend lives in St Charles so when I Visit STL, We ALWAYS Come Here. And Eat Only cross from Check-in. They gave Us Horrible Room. Then We Weren't able to eat Breakfast in there. Up-graded room was wirse then the cheap on. And for $349, Could've had MUCH Nicer

Called housekeeping 3 times and they never came. Would not stay here again.

I called the night before requesting housekeeping for the following day. We were gone the following day until 3:00 and housekeeping never came. I called 3 times to request housekeeping, checking is horrible.
I was not told when you check in that if you park in the parking lot across street that $40 per day gets charged to your room.
I paid for parking with the parking attendant each day we left the parking lot . So I was charged $80 a day for parking
