The location is perfect for me. Love the updates since my last visit. The bed could be a tad bit more comfortable. It was a little bit hard.

My room was the last on the hallway which was closest to the highway. Pretty noisy with all the highway traffic.

Impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Even though everything seemed dated, it was extremely clean and in good repair.
The desk clerks were always helpful and friendly.
This was the quietest hotel I can remember ever staying at. We heard no neighbors in adjacent rooms, and only minimal hallway noise when someone was passing by our door.
Negatives:
I would have preferred more frequent housekeeping. We stayed 10 nights and did not get any cleaning services.
The bathroom fan did not work, and my report of this issue apparently did not make it to maintenance.
I reserved a studio with 1 king bed, but was given a single queen room. This was not a deal breaker for me, but it would have been nice to get the room I thought I was paying for.
Also, it would have been nice to have received advance notice (before check in) that the elevator would not be working.

Bed bugs made everything uncomfortable! Dirty bathrooms!! Transferred to another room and dirty sheets, so I checked out. It took over 3 weeks to get refunded since they charged me for a full week and $25/night for my 4 lb emotional support animal.

Staff was very accommodating and professional. Kitchenette was nice. You have to ask for the dishes from the front desk. When I asked for extra fitted sheets, the woman at the desk was very nice.
Negatives:
Room didn't smell very good. It was clean, but had a funky smell. Had to run the AC in the dead of winter because the room kept getting so hot. The stairwell was right next to the room, and it was so hot that you would start sweating just walking down the stairs. I think that is one reason the room was so hot. On our second full day, I say a cockroach crawling on the wall adjacent to the stairwell. It was the only one I saw. But where there is one, there is always more. I notified the front desk, and they said they would arrange for the pest control company to come out. Nothing we could do at that point, as we were leaving the next morning. Also, I asked for an extra set of fitted sheets for the beds on the first day because there were no mattress covers on the mattresses, and the mattresses didn't look so great.
In all the hotel was ok. I wouldn't stay here again. But I got what I paid for. Things are just so expensive these days and even the lower cost hotels are expensive. I will just plan on spending more on my hotel next time.
