Positives:
Historic charm. Check out the lobby with clock collection and western Americana antiques. Large quiet room, 2nd floor with balcony overlooking main hwy, toward mountains. King bed very comfy. Front desk staff very pleasant, we arrived very LATE. Room was clean, has a combo heater fan, mini fridge. Well insulated, with door and window closed, could not hear highway noise right below. Breakfast was coffee and donuts. Yum. Perfect for stopover from Oregon to the Eastern Sierra.

Right downtown. Main drag with lots of traffic and very noisy. Rowdy people yelling on the street kept waking us up

Positives:
I liked that the location was good.
I liked the no smoking policy on premises. I liked the view.
Negatives:
I was unaware that there was not an elevator and we are elderly. Lugging up the stairs to our room was not happy.
Also, I like decaf coffee and our first day to get some, none was made. But after I let the front desk know we would be there for the whole week, they made sure it was made.

Overall the stay was nice....
Positives:
Excellent value for money. Very cozy and super friendly staff. Great coffee and donuts in the morning. Room had lovely views of the mountains from right in downtown Gardnerville.
Negatives:
The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but regardless we felt the Inn was definitely a place we'd revisit. Great value stay!
