Negatives:
Door lock falling apart, whole area smelled like weed, room was rundown. Air-conditioning didn't work. Elevators were rickety and stains everywhere. I work as an engineer for hotels and this place made me speechless. Needs a lot of work

Checkin was loaded with fees not disclosed during booking, employees were very vague/evasive on fees, couldn't get ahold of anyone in management, very evasive. Management Wouldn't return phone calls and very difficult to reach.

1.No hot water 2. Closet door fell of the rail and almost hit our Granddaughter. 3. The light switch in the restroom was sparking and shocked my daughter. Would recommend until it is completely refurbished.these roo. Should not be rented out yet.

We booked the Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe for Feb 17-19. We paid over $---plus the $100 resort fee for two nights and our room number 1418 backed up directly to a bank of three elevators. The room had non-stop unacceptable noise 24 hours a day. They advised

The best part about this hotel was the location. Short walk to the gondola for skiing; close proximity to gondola for shopping/eating. Car recommended as Ubers range between $20-30 average one way.

During our 4-night stay neither of the 2 rooms received room service, despite requesting. No bell-hop service/valet so if you have a lot of bags be prepared (ski/snowboard). No hot water in our room. Outdated rooms and short staffed so be prepared.

The walls are paper thin. You should tell your guests to not have private conversations in rooms because everything can be heard. The thermostat you know is a problem its either freezing or so hot I cant breathe. Lastly rude employees
