We had a good-sized room with comfortable beds at the end of a corridor on the 6th floor which meant that we were not disturbed even though it was the busy Christmas period. The location was convenient for the town. We would definitely stay there again if visiting our relatives in Montclair.
Negatives:
The breakfast had a limited menu but adequate. Service was variable over the time we were there and sometimes seemed like an afterthought that they had just remembered to provide.

Positives:
Great location in Montclair and the only game in town, unless you want to stay at The George (which is more expensive but a more special experience)
Negatives:
Parking is expensive, and in general parking is a nightmare in this town, so it's hard to park anywhere else but the valet-only hotel lot. Restaurant expensive, though the food we had was good. NYC prices.

Could not place room service order from room (phone situation at this hotel is automated and you cant get a person), food very expensive but tasty, design flaws in the room (bathroom door super heavy and easy to catch fingers), parking situation bad
