The price seemed good at the time but once I was there I saw why it was at such a low price.
Negatives:
Homeless people on the premises, filming crew in the parking lot, parking lot crowded and the room was not clean and of poor quality.

No bueno in Burque
Negatives:
Nothing was clean, whole in the sheets, stain on the towel, stains on the mattress, nothing was protecting the mattress and the sheet was too small so I literally on top of the dirty mattress.
No blanket cover and the blanket had black stains all over it.
I’ve never experienced an hotel room like this.

Positives:
The breakfast was hot and fresh with a good variety.
Negatives:
We were told to enter in the back where our room was but then the door was locked. Had a very hard time with the door knob to our room, it made it difficult to open and get in. The mini refrigerator did not work. We had to get ice from the bar or front desk which was busy. The sliding glass door in room wasn't closed all the way leaving a gap of air coming through and was screwed to keep it closed. The building looked ran down but I see a lot of potential it can have if it was fixed up right. The location was a bit scary.

Pool area was dirty and out of use most of stay, little to no hot water in my room, walls warping and ceiling peeling. There was no mention prior to that I would also be required to swipe my card again for a $100 deposit upon my arrival, that I will get back 5-7 days after the stay.

The first room we went...
Positives:
We were there to be with relative who was patient at UNM hospital. It was very convenient.
The bed was very comfortable and there were some wonderful big pieces of carved wooden furniture - very nice.
Negatives:
One funny thing is that there was only one electrical outlet for TV, microwave, and coffee maker. Had to change from one to another; could not do two of these simultaneously.

Breakfast was great so was the location.
Negatives:
the reason I gave a 4 star for was due to the fact that one female front desk clerk had such a negative attitube towards myself and my spouse and other people checking in and gave us a room with broken chairs and worn out leather on both chairs . She stated that she was upset due to her working seven days a week. The question is , WHY TAKE HER PERSONAL PROBLEMS OUT ON CUSTOMERS????

Old furnishings, couch filthy, holes in furniture, carpet disgusting dirty, bathroom smelly, tile broke off shower, ceiling in shower falling in. Person at front desk by herself, frustrated, quit and walked out after checking me in, 5 others in line. At breakfast the girl at front desk of restaurant, asleep with head on counter, security guard asleep in his car out back in parking lot. Close this place down!

A nightmare

The price was good, and it wasn't too far from the highway.
Good soap. I did like that there was a grab bar in the shower, but one on the outside of the shower would be beneficial as well.
Negatives:
Didn't have washcloths.. I thought that was kinda odd. I made do with a handtowel.
The hallway had a smoky/musty odor. The room itself didn't smell.
The toilet has a leak in the tank, I think the float and flap just need to be replaced. It kept filling up the tank.
