The breakfast and the location are good.

I didn’t like my experience with my bathroom because was extremely old and with a lot of problems, and also I didn’t have a good experience in my check-out. They charged me an extra money for absolutely nothing!
So they told me I would not be charge for anything and I would receive my refund. And I didn’t receive anything back!

Not much hot water, couldn't get the a/c or heat to work properly, and no USB ports in the rooms to charge anything. Needs remodeling...

The staff were all incredibly friendly. Couldn't beat the price, especially since it was a last-minute booking. Roaming parking lot security at night was nice....especially considering the hoard of zombie-people roaming the area when we pulled up.
Negatives:
The whole building just needs some work. The lobby smelled pretty bad... almost like urine, but i can't say for sure that's what it was. In the room, every flush of the toilet was a gamble based on it appearing to nearly clog with just flushing liquids. The shower wall had a whole exposed section of the wall where there were no tiles. The wall next to the bed had a two foot series of cracks which had started to cause a section of drywall to cave in on itself. The mini-fridge was pretty loud, so we unplugged it. You can tell by looking at the property in general that it was probably really nice at some point, but it's just starting to fall apart. All that being said, the room was 50 bucks, and it met our needs, so I can't complain too loud.

Positives:
Great rate. No bedbugs or evidence of bedbugs. Car didn’t get broken into. Bed was comfy and clean. The staff was harried but polite.
Negatives:
The patio door (ground floor) did not fully latch and did not feel safe. My party’s other room was the same way, but the latch on it had fully failed. The door could open and would not close fully nor lock or latch. We got a different room in place of that one, but no reimbursement for moving from it, a premier king, to the new room, a double bed. The bed had nasty stains under the bed skirt, which I discovered on my bedbug search.

Floors in room were dirty. There was a leftover coffee left in the pot from a previous person staying there. Faucet turned on by itself in the middle of the night. You can hear everything. The area is rundown.
