The room was very nice and comfortable. Really liked how it was set up and the bed was very cozy.

I did not like that I was hit with a $100 Security deposit that was not known until the time of check in. This amount was NOT a hold but charged to my card at the time of check in. This was not listed on the website or any communication with the hotel personnel.

The ugly lying remarks re Cliff one sees online when checking out the venue prior to traveling. Its obvious they are meant to denigrate and demoralize him, with malicious intent. Doesnt speak well for the community.

I will highly recommend this hotel as long as Cliff is in charge. If he leaves, it will revert.

The only rods or hooks in the bathroom was one on the bathroom door. Where are you supposed to hang up your toiletries bag and/or towels?

The hotel was nice and the bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
On check in, was told they would charge a $100 deposit which would be refunded at checkout. Most hotels do this in one step - you see a pending charge for the extra amount but the actual billed amount is correct. However, this hotel billed me the total + the deposit and said they had submitted a refund for the deposit. Of course, the refund has not hit my card yet. Not really a professional way to handle billing. Leaves a bad taste. If I go that way again, I will not stay at this hotel again for that reason.
