The location was quiet and peaceful, just on the edge of town proper where it can be busy. The staff were courteous and respectful, as well as informative. The room was clean and the bed was adequate.
Negatives:
The mattress was too firm for me. The restroom ceiling clearly needs work. The sheet rock needs replacement the peeling sections of paint need to be done. The remote for the TV did not work properly, channels could not be changed. I found the continental breakfast to be wanting. The window had no screen, but that is understandable when you have to place an in-frame window fan in to get air flow. Would rather have a screen in the window and a standing oscillating fan. One of the blankets seemed to be made of wool and was a little too scratchy for me. The shower only has one setting.

The stay was okay if you need a place to sleep for the night. It was clean.

There were bed bugs in our bed. The guy at the front desk took my id gave me room keys and tried to tell me he could get me in trouble for not being 21. He clearly would have told us that he could not take my id or give us a room, instead he gave us a room, tried to say we destroyed the property when we did nothing to the rooms. the customer service was terrible.

Office was closed at check-in time, key in envelope on board outside. No cups in room, had run out of coffee packs. Minimal amenities, no screen on window. No staff, only one person as manger, maintenance, housekeeping.
