Close to Red River, we needed a place until our condo was open the next day.
Negatives:
It was very low budget, sketchy as no one was in the office for us to check in. Had to call a few numbers and a man came from upstairs to say what room we had. It seemed clean but very old, outdated beds. Bathroom was clean enough. Still not enough for me to ever go back. The curtains were barely hanging on a rod attached to the wall by one screw, they were def broken, so couldn’t close curtains properly. Heat was broken, it was so hot in there, it was either we cut it off or it got really hot.

The experience was made much better by the manager who excelled in customer service. She explained everything about the facility going through some rehab and she got me in with points into one of the few upgraded rooms.
Negatives:
I can't really complain knowing they are going through an ownership change, room upgrades and it's the off season.

The location was quiet and peaceful, just on the edge of town proper where it can be busy. The staff were courteous and respectful, as well as informative. The room was clean and the bed was adequate.
Negatives:
The mattress was too firm for me. The restroom ceiling clearly needs work. The sheet rock needs replacement the peeling sections of paint need to be done. The remote for the TV did not work properly, channels could not be changed. I found the continental breakfast to be wanting. The window had no screen, but that is understandable when you have to place an in-frame window fan in to get air flow. Would rather have a screen in the window and a standing oscillating fan. One of the blankets seemed to be made of wool and was a little too scratchy for me. The shower only has one setting.
