The room was very clean and maintained.

The heater was very loud and cycled about every 10 to 15 minutes. It would wake me up every time.

The outside grounds were all tore up. We missed the entrance to the parking and when we entered to check in at the desk there were about 20 people sitting at the tables eating. I still have not received the credit for the canceled booking from the place next door

The room itself was okay. It was clean but they only had two tiny pillows. The outside of the building was very scratchy and scary looking. It was very hard to find. We passed it 3 times because the sign is not lit up and the building sits off the road

Property was VERY sketchy and felt UNSAFE the entirety of our visit. Was not willing to walk all the way around to whatever breakfast they might have offered.
Negatives:
There was a 1-2 INCH gap underneath the main entry door into our unit. We were CHANGED to this unit (134) after we complained that our original unit (139) had NO heat and working telephone. Unit 134 was warm but but the noted HUGE gap underneath the main door. A couple of hours into our stay we saw RATS running in and out of the room through this gap!!!!!!!!!! RATS!!!!!!!!!! Not only that, but cold air swept in through this same gap with temps hovering near 20F!!!!! I wound up cramming whatever I could in this gap (bags, a small ice chest, small boxes, trash bin, etc.) to try to keep the RATS out. Finally, not only was the floor was so DIRTY that we wore sandals everywhere, the bedspreads even had small STAINS on them and the front door barely latched. As if not enough, the area is VERY sketchy...none of us felt anywhere near safe our entire stay--but the reservation was NON-REFUNDABLE. I took PICTURES of ALL of this!!! Seriously, we deserve to have our stay fully REFUNDED. In addition, I left the manager both a "maintenance note" and a personal note in the room stating that if reported, conditions were SO POOR that the local Health Dept/regulators might shut them down if left unaddressed.

It was very very clean and lovely! It has been one of my favourites so far on my world trip. Great breakfast. Pretty bonsai garden. Felt safe and the toiletries were posh!

Most authentic and best stop for a road trip across America

Veryrude, didn't know the policy for free cancelation. Took my husband money 50, but did get my full refund but not the full amounts Also felt unsafe half the build had paper on the doors and look very suspicious. I would not Recommend anyone to stay at days inn on the west side of Gallup. The owner took for ever just to give our card back because I didn't want to stay their. Very rude and yes I yell at her. Unsafe she also.try charging my card 4 time. When I had the free cancelation before six. Which mean we had to call them to set it when really they can help you over the phone..

The front desk worker working at night was very helpful and courteous. My stay was unexpected due to the weather but i reside like 30 miles into Arizona and she made me feel important and reassured my safety was more important to rest and continue in the morning.

The rooms were very cold and the heater took forever to warm up the room.
