Convenient off the highway

Remodeling everything was out of order. The room appeared to have been partially remodeled and was poorly done. Pool out of order, breakfast consists of coffee, that's it. Staff was ok but acted like everything not working, which was normal for a hotel, and the price was still within $5 of the other hotel in the area that were actually functioning motels.

We were staying on Route 66. The bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
The bathroom smelled. The bathtub needed caulking. The refrigerator did not work. The breakfast consisted of cereal and milk. The lobby and outside the front door were piled high with lumber and materials to do renovations. I paid Booking.com $71.42 for a king-size room. I was assigned two queen beds instead. If I had only been charged $35 like another reviewer it would have been more reasonable.

They are remodeling the whole complex. it will be wonderful when completed. The receptionist was very nice and helpful.

no indication that this hotel was in the middle of a renovation. construction stuff all over. the room we were given was clearly never made up for a guest. pillow covers all wrinkly and sheets were not fresh and bed poorly made. most lamps did mit work. after telling front desk we were moved next door. bed was better but room was spartan with not even cups to use. towels were threadbare. not worth what we paid.

Did not honnor price , breakcfast was frozen , orange juice was so watery. No plates or cups. Room was dirty . Sheets were dirty had bed bugs toilet was painted with paint for walls . Garbage outside every where.
