The hotel was turned into a refugee center. We were not notified and went to the after a long flight with no hotel to stay out. Booking.com would not reimburse us for our Ubers to get to other hotels. We also had to find a new hotel to stay at. They also would not reinsures us for that hotel. Do not book with them

HOTEL DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE. DO NOT BOOK. THEY DID NOT NOTIFY BOOKING.COM OR OTHER SITES. I only found out less than 24 hours to my check in time. Google Maps reviews said it was closed and turned into a homeless shelter.

I no longer trust Priceline...

The hotel has been "occupied by the government" since August 8th and no one bothered telling me. I was not allowed in the building. I will not be booking through booking.com again if this is what happens.

Are you kidding? The hotel was closed to the public when we got there; it had been closed for 3 weeks. The only way I knew was from a sign left on the front door of the building.

I ended up sleeping on...

I booked a room two months ago via Booking.com, received a confirmation and address of 1200 Broadway, Brooklyn NY. We arrived at 9 pm, I’m in an electric wheelchair and reserved room was supposed to be accessible. Upon arrival we learned we had no room and reservations were for a different address than the stated 1200 Broadway. My husband called the correct Holiday Inn and learned we had no reservations. We didn’t know what to do as it was 10:20pm by this time. We were forced to pay full amount for another room and 50. Parking. The room stated was supposed to be accessible but had no place to sit to take a shower-I cannot stand at all so never had a shower either.
This was such a poor mistake by someone.
