The low rating for this hotel is a little harsh. Overall, I found it to be an acceptable accommodation for someone who needs a place to stay the night and doesn't need all the bells and whistles. The breakfast was in line with what one might expect. It's a short drive from the town center if you're looking for something to do. It's easily accessible from I-81. Sure, the rooms could use an upgrade, but for a simple hotel, it's a decent value and it does its job.

I received a phone call in the afternoon of the booking to clarify the type of room i.e. two double beds. When I arrived, that was not available. The manager was very pleasant, gave us a suite and a cot.
