Positives:
I was upgraded to an executive room and it was lovely; spacious and modern. I have stayed quite a few times as my child attends Rochester Institute of Technology. The RIT Inn is only 4 miles away from RIT and it's an easy drive. The staff is lovely and very accomodating. Carrie, the evening manager, was very helpful. Patrick, the Front Desk Manager, was very attentive in checking me out and discussing the room charge. All in all, I recommend this hotel.
Negatives:
The executive room was lovely, but the standard rooms are a bit dated and they could also use a refresh. That being said, they are sparkling clean and I never worry about cleanliness when staying here. I noticed, for the first time this visit, that some of the parking lot lights were out and the lot was a bit dark. Also, this doesn't matter to me, but there is no free breakfast. Although, there is a lovely restaurant onsite, which is very convenient.

Very well equipped, large rooms. Great beds. Very clean. Nice staff. Newer facility with large number of amenities. Good value overall.
Negatives:
Poor lighting in rooms and key cards worked poorly in door to room. This is a sprawling, 4-story hotel and conference center with a restaurant and bar. Overall there is a vast amount of parking but finding a space close to one’s room is almost impossible. No consideration to disabled or elderly travelers. Restaurant offers calorie-filled 3 course dinners only. Breakfast choices are full egg, meat, starch, beverage deals or a beverage and bagel. Few Nearby sit-down restaurants alternates.

Bathroom was tiny, old, and not updated. Atmosphere was weird. Not like a regular hotel. Staff wasn't super professional and knowledgeable. Small parking lot. Exterior looked unkeot and old.The furniture was worn and outdated. Curtains were too small for window. No blackout curtains.
