I mistakenly double booked this hotel. I advised them months ago within 5 minutes of realizing it. They would not reverse charges or credit my account.

Positives:
I never got the opportunity to even stay here. Once I arrived for check in that is when I was told that they are closed because they decided to take on undocumented immigrants. So I had to deal to find another stay plus expending way more money.
Negatives:
The lack of communication and responsibility towards the guess that already booked months just to let them hanging without a proper stay.

We need a refund - the hotel went out of business. No one told us. We had to find 2 rooms at another hotel at 9:30 pm and paid twice as much. NOT HAPPY!!! NEED A REFUND!!!

crowne plaza closed down last minute and do not have the courtesy to contact the guests. upon arriving in JFK, I called to ask about airport shuttle and thats how and when I found out that the whole hotel has been shut down. Bought over and employees were told not to return for work..and all reservations cancelled. and I am left stranded with 2 children scrambling to find last minute hotel room. And Crowne Plaza made no attempt to refund me. I am trying to contact Crowne Plaza for my refund and no luck so far. this is very irresponsible for a big hotel organisation like this.
