The departures are far away so you will need a taxi which is overpriced (if you have an early flight that is otherwise the hotel provides a shuttle from 6 am onwards).

The shuttle bus didn't arrive as scheduled. We waited in cold wind for ONE WHOLE HOUR. The front desk hang up my calls 4 times, and didn't really help to contact the shuttle driver. Plus, the shuttle driver lied about his arrival. Horrible experience.

Convenient. Not far from airport.
Negatives:
The room was much smaller and had a very musky smell. The hallways are dark and narrow too. Very dated. Although the housekeeping staff was very nice. I did tell the hotel in advance that I was allergic to down and it should be replaced prior to my arrival and it was not which triggered my allergies. Also, please inform everyone that there is a $30 parking fee and there is a $75 hold (?) but because I had Hilton Honors it would be waived after we leave (?).
We get that NY is expensive but even in Hawaii where we live a $400 room is decent.
The bright side is its location near JFK airport though everything is so cramped.
