the entry into the hotel and reception area wasn’t particularly welcoming. in addition there’s a live music within the hotel but one of the entries to the bar was by the elevators and it felt a bit unsafe with lots of people coming in and out

Staff was welcoming and kind. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Early morning construction being done, the balcony view was just the view of the other side of the hotel where the construction was being done.

Great location. Close to metro stop. Nice black-out curtains. 1 bottle of water was provided. Had a soft and firm pillow.

Mattress was too soft. The ground ac/heat unit across the bed ended up blowing directly in our faces.

We had a horrible night at Aloft LIC as we didnt get any sleep because of the high rise construction site right across the street where workers continued hammering and banging all through the night. Front desk staff didnt care when we mentioned this upon check out nor when we asked for the GMs contact info. Emailed the GM but no response either. No one cares. I could have ignored looking at a construction side but paying almost three hundert dollars and not being able to sleep because of loud construction noise is unacceptable. Ironically we booked here to get away from construction at home. If you value your sleep, dont book here.
