This hotel is a gem. It is one of the most cozy hotels I have ever stayed in. The customer service provided by the staff is great and it provides a great escape from the craziness of NYC. Every time you walk in to the hotel, you are greeted with a unique scent that welcomes you back. It is quiet and tucked away from the rest of the city which allows for a great night of rest.
Negatives:
The lack of privacy in how the bathroom is designed within the room is unfortunate. This is not an issue if you are staying alone, but if you are with someone it is a real issue.

Gild Hall has a wonderful location that suited me perfectly. The staff were all helpful, always. I would book this hotel
again. I found several excellent restaurants nearby. Proximity to the South Street Seaport was a plus, as was the view
from nearby of the 9/11 Memorial tower.
