Positives:
I loved the convenience and location of Pod Timesquare. I was travelling with my mum who is hopeless when it comes to technology and navigating and it being my first time in NY, staying here made it very easy. Also, special mention to the man who would always greet us in the lobby (possibly the manager??) he was always so lovely and helpful. Made my day everyday.
Negatives:
It was quite small with 2 big suitcases and whenever my mum would change the channel or volume on the tv, it would stuff mine up.

The location was central and easy to walk from. Staff were polite and could get a coffee in the morning.
Negatives:
It was very small and was uncomfortable. The thing that bothered me was the cleaning. They asked us on check in did we request daily? We said yes. Yet every day had to ask for towels, to empty the bins, they still didn't do it some days. The bedding, bathroom was not cleaned at all for 7 nights nor nothing wiped down. Paying £1500 for the week and constantly chasing basic hygiene requests.

Location very good, just next to the subway station and times square, also next door to the bus station. workers very nice and you can keep your luggage there for free. Bed very comfortable and the elevator is very convinent. The change of elevator between lobby and rom makes things safer. Have alot of good restaurants near by and good for travellers. Hotel room can be expensive so book early.
Negatives:
The blinds in the room are not working very well blocking the light, which interferes with sleep as your head is facing the blinds. bathroom fan is abit loud so close the door before you go to bed.

Excellent price and good location in the middle of NYC. I think I got a free room upgrade as well. (I did not have the breakfast.)
Negatives:
The hotel put a hold on a reservation fee and then when I checked-in another fee, in total about two times the cost of the actual stay. Everything was ofc corrected in the end but some might find it annoying if they stay for several days and the costs are high.

I like the proximity of the place to some of NYC attractions. Aside from that the public transport like subway and buses is very accessible.
The room is cleaned daily you don't need to request it from the hotel staff. They also replace the towel daily.
