Positives:
Terrific views from breakfast overlooking time square . Great location to soak up atmosphere and within walking distance of subways and convenience stores for essentials. Fantastic concierge services that provide outstanding advice ,tips and general help.
Negatives:
Our only issue which we raised was our room was cold and never got above 20.The first engineer was plain rude and suggested we must be thick if we couldn’t figure out the controller and it was the same as most homes / hotels (despite there being no instructions for guests and for those who do not live in a climate where we have such devices). He decided it would heat up eventually! It did not.
A second engineer however was superb. Had a wonderful manner. Thoroughly checked the system and recognised there was a fault as it was taking too long to raise temperatures. He sought to resolve the problem rather than judge the users. We used blankets and it was never too big an issue to complain. Further training of customer service for the first engineer would be advice and maybe some guidance on identifying where the fault lies when a guest is seeking help with a faulty heating system.

Great position in full Times Square, the beds are comfortable with large choice of pillows, rooms are large enough. Price, considering location, is okay.
Negatives:
It's rated 4 stars, but we don't think it's a fair rating. Many services are below standard, and the structure is quite oldish (shared areas, in-room toilet, etc.). The staff is rather cold, even unfriendly sometimes (front desk), except for the black guy in the lobby who is very nice.
