One member of the party guaranteed the room with credit card and then was paid by another person in full when they checked in later in the day. Later in the month the room charge was taken again from the first card. Several emails to the hotel got no response. Tried phoning but no answer.

We’ve stayed here before and love the convenience of the location and the vibe of the New York scene.
Negatives:
The front foyer is very dark with dim lighting and dark walls. Not very welcoming however the have an amazing smell of essential oils or similar burning.
The bar upstairs is normally fantastic but this trip it was never open as the little convenience market they have. Not sure why it was there we never saw it opened??

Too few ice machines and having to go 3 levels to access nearest. Vending machine on same level was broken my entire stay, 5 nights. Told staff twice. Loud customers in hall and in room across from us at 4 am in morning waking us for over an hour.
