the staff were exceptional, especially Jamie Bond and the breakfast managers... nothing was too much trouble, they sorted my room mistake... I thought I'd booked a room with 2 beds but booking was for 1 king so my 22 year old son wasn't happy...they were amazing, gave us an extra room for 2 of our nights free of charge. The breakfasts were superb... they even gave boxes so we could take a bagel and muffin for later.... It's been a long time since I've had staff who were so good and we travel regularly.... they made us feel special posted pics of the views from the room (King with city views) and friends from the UK are asking for details for their trips to NYC

Refrigerator and dishwasher was out of order inn our completely stay, the technical staff tried to fix it 5 times without being able to fix it. Incredible poor service and no interest to help us with new room or any compensation. Was promised 100 USD for the food we had to throw away, but even after 1 month we have not received it. What kind of service/support is this?. We have sent complain by mail/telephone and we wrote down all things that was wrong when we was there. We had mould inside our refrigerator that you sent up to clean when we told you. Coffee machine was out of order, it was replaced, missing the remote control and you came up with a new one. But 5 days without kitchen and no compensation. Unbelievable after traveling properly 20 times in the US this was the worst customer support we have experienced.

Everything! Location was brilliant. Subway on the corner and few minutes walk away from Times Square and Central Park. Room was spacious, with comfy bed, loved the kitchen area and the views were outstanding! Breakfast choices were good too.

We were extremely pleased with the staff and accommodations. Frank, at the front desk, during check-in quickly remedied a problem with our room. The St. Patrick's Day parade was that day and many guests changed to a late check out. So, our 2 double bed room wasn't available. However, Frank found a room that had 1 full & 1 twin (which was ok since it was my husband, daughter & I), reduced our rate by a third, gave us a 4 pm checkout, and thew in a bottle of wine. The room was spacious for NY, clean, had a fantastic view from the 63rd floor, desk and the beds were very comfortable. We noticed soon after getting into our room the refrigerator was trying to cycle on and getting stuck. We called for service and the repairman arrived within 5 minutes and quickly fixed the problem. Other than that, the kitchenette was well appointed even though we only used the refrigerator. My husband and daughter said the complimentary breakfast was very good. I couldn't go since I was running the NYC Half Marathon and left early for the race. The next afternoon, the hotel was providing free ice cream sundaes (personally scooped) for guests in the lobby. It was delicious and a pleasant surprise - so please continue to provide it! We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to NYC!

Two minor things. First, the address is 1717 Broadway but the entrance is on West 54th. Taxi dropped us off on Broadway. Also, I'm not a fan of showerheads on a flexible hose (can't ever get it to stay where I want) and the water pressure was just ok.

I liked that the rooms had a refrigerator, coffee maker, and wonder views. The breakfast was great and the breakfast room was very nice, lots of tables and chairs and a bar like table along the windows. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I wish there was a common area on a high floor to enjoy the view. Also , in the room, there was not a lot of room to put suitcases for two people.
