Better than sleeping outside....BARELY
Positives:
The staff was wonderful! Dave and his crew bent over backwards to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. With a location right on the Erie Canal, It was central to all our destinations.

The pool was beautiful and the pricing was WAY under the other hotels in the area. The bed was REALLY comfy!!! TONS OF PARKING!! If you have a trailer like I did, it's awesome.

The carpet... it was dirty and dusty- the hair drier plug was rusted apart - tub/shower TINY . Could use much more parking lot light.

Staff was friendly.

The place was falling apart. Mildewy smell in the hallways. Broken keycard entries on the rear and side of the building. Smoke detector was missing from our room (just a mount and a dangling wire). There was a cup of what we thought was old apple juice left in the fridge in our room. The air conditioner in our room under the window was propped up on wooden boards. Bathroom sink and toilet were clean enough, but the tub was darkened with use. Lots of chips in the countertop. Most of the wallpaper was peeling a little. Bed was firm, which was fine for me, but the pillows were small and unsupportive.
