Positives:
Proximity to Syracuse. Hotel style/quaintness.
Negatives:
I reserved room on AAA website. Reservation said it included breakfast. There was a $94 option per night for just room, or $135 with breakfast. I figured for a full breakfast for two people (there were three of us in the room but I figured breakfast would be for two), $40 would be a good deal. When I checked in, the woman at front desk never mentioned breakfast. I went down to desk later and inquired. She said they don't ever include breakfast at that hotel as it is a full service restaurant and I must be mistaken. I showed her the print out from my reservation, which clearly said "Breakfast included." She still insisted I was wrong and since I booked on "Priceline.com" (note, I booked on AAA!), they would not cover it. I again questioned her, so she called the manager of the restaurant, "Mike". He gave me a $25 gift card for restaurant. This did not cover breakfast for two people. We were the only people in the restaurant for breakfast on the morning of Thursday, Aug 3rd. It took quite a while for our meal to be served.
Review
The hotel is very convenient to Syracuse University, which was our destination. It is an older hotel, but quaint. Room was a bit small, as was bathroom. Room was clean and beds comfortable.
