Positives: The room was cleaner than the typical motel.
Negatives: I was past my check out time and was asleep so the manager who happens to be a white male took it upon himself to use a keycard to access my room while I was in there asleep... I woke up in a panic and scared. I expressed how upsetting this was and how people are being trafficked and he just kept on telling me it was past check out time. I became frustrated and threatened to call the cops. When I called down to the front desk to report that someone just walked into my room the lady who answered the phone said "yeah that's the manager, checkout time is at 11". No apology for him walking unto the room or any empathy whatsoever.. it was about 2 pm. It gets worse though, I should have checked out at that point but I ended up booking for a few days extra. When it was close to the time for me to finally check out I called down to the front desk and said that I was doing a late check out. The guy on the other end of the line was very rude and told me I don't get to tell them I'm doing a late check out and that I have to ask or request it. I immediately asked for one and he told me the latest he can do is 11:30... 30 minutes past checkout. He immediately hung up. I tried calling back and he ignored the call twice until I called from another number. Once he answered and I told him that his customer service sucks and hung up on him the same was he hung up on me. He called the room phone back and when I answered he told me to come say it to his face and then hung up on me again. I couldn't believe what was happening. When I went down to the front desk he was in a pooh shiesty ski mask looking like he was about to commit a robbery. We went back and forth and the manager stood there and let all of it happen. I have this all recorded and will be posting it to my tiktok. I'm waiting to see how MOTEL 6 handles this.

Positives: Clean room, cozy feeling to it.
Negatives: The price. Because of the eclipse I got ripped off big time and I am very upset about that. Hurting financially and I have always liked Motel 6 before I got hit with that $500 price was devastating. I will definitely be telling people about that, unfortunately.

Positives: Close to a lot of activities and cheaper than other hotels. It’s dog friendly with no additional cost
Negatives: Had to go to the lobby to use a microwave, no shampoo or conditioner. The price was increased significantly due to the eclipse(not the reason I was there) with no added benefit. Unfortunately, some dog owners don’t respect the property and didn’t clean up after their dogs. There was no assigned place to bring the dogs- most dog friendly places have poop bags and a specific place to dispose of dog waste, this wasn’t available either

Positives: Really enjoyed the privacy. Enjoyed the fact that there wasn’t really anyone around during the weekend. Was very quiet and cozy during the weekday but for a bit more busy during the day.
Negatives: Unfortunately, the floor was disgusting. It felt like they really didn’t sweep anything.. There was a bug on the floor which was really gross but glad my girlfriend was able to kill it and get rid of it.
