The elevator makes a horrible noise and it’s like it sticks, the room doors won’t close they have to be forcibly closed and if you close them it’s extremely hard to get in or out of the room and the handles stick and won’t open. We were stuck in our room trying to get out and there was no room phone to call the desk for help. When going to our room the first time the door was left open from the cleaning staff so anyone could have been in our room. Other guest on the same floor stated they left their doors propped open so they could get in or out easily. They even slept with doors propped open. When asking the girl at the front desk how to operate the TV as they are new she said “no one knows how to use them they are no so I don’t know what to tell you”. Upon checking out I was told that until everything is completely switched that technically they were not allowed to rent out rooms however the owners didn’t want to lose money. Well we have a national pageant in August and this hotel is listed as one of the best to stay at and I have cancelled my reservation and let the others know about our experience and they are all looking elsewhere for rooms for our national event in August.
