Negatives: Lady I spoke to was rude to not only myself, but other people within my group. Cussing and screaming across the lobby at members of my group because there was a miscommunication on whether to charge a balance to her room or have her pay for it right then, and while the staff member was dealing with it she rudely stated that it would come out of her pay (they already discussed her charging it to the room multiple times so this was so unnecessary). Whenever I personally spoke with her, it was over the phone, I was arriving late so I added a member of my group to the reservation to pick up the key cards. An additional charge was explained to them that was not explained to myself (keep in mind, I’m not there and I was the one paying for the reservation) so when I asked her what the additional charge was for so she rudely states “I ALREADY TOLD THEM THAT THIS IS COMPANY POLICY” before continuing to explain what the additional charge is for. I don’t mind following hotel policies and that was not at all what I was implying when I called and asked what the additional charge was for, however you’re not going to speak to me like an illiterate child about an additional $300 charge and then proceed off the bat to become upset with my one question because you have to re-explain this charge to the person that has to pay for it. She said the charge will be refunded after the stay and it’s hotel policy, once again, I don’t mind that once I was told, however I do mind this rude woman at the front who’s supposed to be dealing and presenting herself in a professional manner doing everything except that. If it weren’t for hotel policy (would like to re-iterate I fully believe in respecting hotel policies) of no refunds if not cancelled in advance, this hotel would’ve lost $1500 solely based off this one employee. I, nor anyone in my group, advised her to work in hospitality before hand. Don’t take out your unhappiness with your career on guests of this hotel.

Negatives: The room size was smaller than expected. Breakfast included powdered eggs which smelled band. Were in the South grits should always be on the menu.

Negatives: The cheesecake was awful and I ordered a latte before hitting the road I couldn’t drink it
