Positives:
The hotel had easy access off the highway and was close to a gas station. It is by itself, with not much around. Undergoing renovations, so it was a bit messy. The staff were very friendly. The beds were awesome as were the TV and internet. The toiletries were nice and the tub was low enough not to be a problem for people with mobility issues. Shower pressure was good and the water was hot. Seemed to be well insulated against outdoor noises. Loved having a bar and small restaurant on the proerty.
Negatives:
There is only one small lamp between the beds, which is not good if one person wants to read. There were no available/accessible electrical outlets or USB charging ports. We got lost trying to leave in the dark at 4.00 a.m. - no markings to show you the egress!

Worth the money.

Superb
Positives:
Rooms were updated and nice.
Negatives:
There was mention of being under construction. Pool was closed so the kids could not swim. Gym was closed so I couldn’t get a workout in. Then there was no restroom available for the lobby or restaurant guest, you had to go up to your room.

Positives:
The beds were very comfortable and the showers had good pressure.
Negatives:
The Poole and Jim were closed for renovation and we did not know this in advance. It is part of why we chose to stay there.

Positives:
Location
Negatives:
Under major construction.
Room was full of construction dust in room.
No one answered the phone at the front desk when i called to complain about the room.
A/C woke us up at 6 am with a loud noise. Tried to shut the unit down and it wouldn’t shut off. Called front desk at approximately 6:27 am and spoke to a gentleman that said that 1) no one was supposed to be occupying the 2nd floor rooms as they weren’t open due to the construction on that floor; 2) no other rooms available to be moved into as they were sold out; 3) no maintenance engineer on duty to come assess the a/c; 4) i had to put noise canceling earphones on my 5 year old son who is on the autism spectrum to calm him from the tantrum provoked by the A/C noise as well as to sleep. We also were exhausted from the 11 hour drive to the hotel, and had another 10 hour drive today to our destination. The customer service was nonexistent as they said they couldn’t not accommodate any room change or repair. Also couldn’t do anything as we booked through a 3rd party.

Horrible
Positives:
Only location
Negatives:
The staff were extremely rude! It began when we walked in. 3 staff were sitting in the breakfast area, no one at the checkin desk. One staff did come over after a few minutes and yawned through our checkin. Threw our keys on the desk and mumbled where the elevator was. The staff acted as if we were bothering them.
The hotel was under construction. The pool, the bar, the restaurant and the outside area were closed because of construction. We asked about drinks and food after we settled in our room. That’s when a staff member rudely told us all was under construction but could order and eat in the lobby area.

A total customer disservice.
Negatives:
They were under construction.

Positives:
The staff was very accommodating.
Negatives:
The hotel was under construction and only one elevator was available. The kitchen had a water leak & breakfast was canceled early. The fire alarm went off at 1:30 am & we had to evacuate. An all clear was announced half hour later. Not a very relaxing or comfortable stay. Too many issues.

Disappointing
Positives:
Newly renovated room on the 5th floor (the facility is currently undergoing renovation). Keurig coffee machine in room, fridge and microwave oven. Bed comfort is adequate. Our room and bathroom were very clean. Plenty of bath towels.
Negatives:
Frequent construction sound during daytime hours due to current renovation project. Elevators are slow and rather dirty, and corridor floors and check-in floors did not appear to have been swept recently. Inadequate lighting in our room. Hot tub is out of commission (which for me was a perk). A free breakfast should be included for the price of hotel room (134.00 plus tax/fees).
