Positives:
The hotel is in a good location. Got to park close to the door for the room. I called the hotel about 2 days before and explained that walking was difficult and wanted to be on the 1st floor. I got that. I did feel safe in the area.
Negatives:
The carpeting in the room needs cleaning or should be replaced. It looks well worn. The bathroom door latch was broken and doesn't close shut. The breakfast was nothing to cheer about. A few minor touch up in the room(s) would greatly improve them.

The room was pool side which worked out perfect for the kids.

The rooms were ok, the couch was in poor poor condition, the carpet in the hallway was ugly. Hopefully they do more upgrades as the front desk made the hotel look like it was a good place but once you start walking down the carpet hallway it looked dungy.

When I booked a pool side room my sliding door opened to the hallway right down from the pool area. Surprising because I wanted to be able to watch my kids while swimming.

Very unclean, the patio door to the pool area did not lock, the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in and it didnt close or lock. There was snot on the walls, very unclean.

The night receptionist was not very friendly. I felt like I was bothering her... The rest of the staff was excellent!

The pool is great for kids.

It was extremely dirty. Dust and dirt build up everywhere. Food and garbage on floor in the cleaned rooms. Sofa bed was broken and no rooms to switch to. No staff showed up to work so they did not provide breakfast as no one was there to cook it.

That it was a 5 minute drive to the Fargo Dome and the pool was somewhat cool.

Everything!! The rooms were dirty and gross. The hallways smelled like people were smoking in them. The elevators were something out of a horror movie. The bag carts barely fit through the doors, I would say just take the stairs . I could go on and on.
Positives:
We wanted a hotel with the amenities and this had it - cool pool, free breakfast, on-site bar/restaurant. However, the pool is DANGEROUS. The slide looks like it could collapse any minute. The hotel itself is also unclean.

We needed breakfast for my son before his athletic event. However, the hotel closed it that morning for lack of staff. This happens. I understand. So I asked if he could just grab a piece of toast since we were in a hurry. The manager NO to a hungry kid.
