I visited property before committing and thought it was a very nice hotel with a different vibe than main chain hotels.
Negatives:
I know it was weekend before eclipse but here were some things I didn’t like:
1) when booking, was told there would be breakfast at check-in was told restaurant would not be opened for breakfast or lunch (but they gave meal vouchers?!?!) this was a big disappointment because I had guests who stayed and didn’t have a car so they had to either walk or wait for pickup to get breakfast.
2) the heater broke and had to be fixed. The repair man was nice and worked hard resolving the issue. Outside of first night scare and inconvenience, it worked rest of trip

the ambiance and history along with architecture was spectacular. I love the on-site bar and restaurant . I found the room very comfortable and relaxing.
Negatives:
The morning desk personnel came off as a bit rude to me where as Peyton was a absolute gem. The location to unload is a bit dangerous with traffic right at your back . Never a fan of HRV for bathrooms as they never keep up with a hot shower

Nice location with a comfortable room and a nice onsite restaurant. There is a big outlet centre within a few minutes drive from the hotel with most well-known brands available.
Negatives:
The restaurant on the premises is not always open and on one of the busiest nights for the hotel we had to go elsewhere.
