Location was good for our needs.
Negatives:
We travel quite a bit for competition dance. This was probably our first experience with a hotel staff like this. Zero hotel staff presence other than upon arrival. We are used to friendliness and seeing staff around the building. Kind of odd. While back and forth to our outings the front desk was almost always empty.
Hotel is under construction as well. Our room was remodeled which was nice.

Room was cozy and large for the 6 of us. An extra seat would've helped. Close to many restaurants and stores. Pet friendly is always great! Biscuits and gravy nailed it!
Negatives:
The pool was closed, one of the main reasons we chose to stay the evening, versus driving the full.nine hours. Breakfast was closed down at 9 AM, so half.the family missed it. To be fair, what was left out, such as cereal, fruit and bread was fair game until put away. More time is needed!

Pool was closed without online notice. View was nothing but construction vehicles, parking was limited. Hallways was noise . Maid walked in room before check out time, woke me and my family in a shocking manner.. he did apologize but that was terribly terrifying. No fire pits were working. None smoking rooms, but no where to smoke to keep warm an on sideways due to non smoking facilities. Shower head had no pressure . The hide away bedding was dingy and looked nasty.
