The night manager was very helpful. I had overshot the correct exit and ended up at another Rodeway Inn. I asked the manager there to connect me via the phone to the correct inn. The manager there gave me great directions.
Negatives:
The exterior surroundings were showing their age: peeling paint and dry, cracked wood on sign posts, etc. My room and two next to it were labelled as handicapped accessible. The interior of my room certainly was, but outside the room I noticed that there was a 12" high curb from the parking area to the paving outside the room door. Other blocks of rooms did not have this high curb.

Positives:
Nothing. It is not as advertised. I needed a one night stay for my daughter and myself. We did not stay. The room was filthy, burn holes everywhere, signs to keep all doors locked while inside for safety. I have never felt so unsafe at a hotel.
Negatives:
There were people standing outside of our room. We walked into the room, changed our clothes and left. I did not feel safe being there alone with my 17 year old daughter. I tried to leave my key with the desk and explain my discomfort but could not find anyone there that was currently working.

Positives:
The first room we were given was not cleaned and beds not made. There was about 6 or 7 gentlemen 3 doors down sitting outside several rooms together drinking and smoking. I went back to the desk and at least he apologized and put us in a different room that was clean and comfortable and away from the men drinking. So not a 10 but not a1. I'm just glad they apologized and fixed the problem.

The room smelled very musty as soon as we walked in and aggravated my sons allergies all night and a couple days following. The bathroom smelled especially musty and the AC unit smelled bad when in use. The filters need changed at the least.
