Hotel was clean; great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

We were told we had to leave money for "incidentals." This was not mentioned before check-in. This is ridiculous. We are both senior citizens on a fixed income. We went to get ice and the ice machine did not work.

When booking online, it didn't mention the incidental fee that's temporarily charged to the card and refunded at checkout. So when I got there, still needed to give my card and pay separately from booking. Though they were very nice in explaining it.

The breakfas was good with nice choices and the lady working breakfast room was very helpful and friendly. The lobby was clean and looked nice too.
Negatives:
Our room had an odor and the staff would not move us to another room (but they did spray and odorizer around but that did not last long). While the bed was very comfortable our sheets had tears in them. But I would not book a room in this particular hotel again.

Great people and a great stay.

The breakfast was very good and the area was extremely clean. There was a wide variety of items to select based on personal preference. The evening desk clerk at check in was very helpful and provided a smooth check in. The Friday evening desk clerk was friendly and asked how my day had been.
Negatives:
During the morning rain on September 22, 2023, water leaked in the lounge area of the room from the ceiling. This was reported the desk clerk asked what I wanted him to do, then said the maintenance person would come check it when they came in. He offered a different room it was not at the same standard so it was declined. Opened, used soap left in the shower from previous occupant.

Comfortable room, no problems other than the leak and shower incident. Clerks can have off days...
