Overcrowded, nothing worked, bathroom door didn’t close, the staff were useless. The front desk never answered the phone so I had to go downstairs and tell them that the in-room refrigerator wasn’t working. They said they’d have someone from “engineering” come up and look at it, but nobody ever showed up. I will not be returning to this hotel.

It was beautiful and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Every morning we went to have breakfast and it was beyond what we imagined or were used to. Donna even gave my kids cereal for the road trip home! Housekeeping was fantastic and quick when we needed towels or anything.

We had an excellent time...
Positives:
I loved our room which was surprisingly spacious. The ease of getting to the OU campus was great. We also loved the view of the runway at Westheimer and were able to see our daughter come in for a landing. The proximity to dining and shopping was perfect.
Negatives:
While I appreciate the ability to get the room key on our phone, there was zero interaction with staff which still seems odd…but wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Hotel was oversold when we arrived. We were given a room across the street from Embassy Suites. Totally unacceptable. Staff at Holiday inn Express were very accommodating and pleasant.

Reserved a king suite. They couldn't find my reservation. The room ac/heat did not work. The water pressure in the shower was non existent. Water in shower would get luke warm at best. Pull out sofa bed sheets were dirty and used. Multiple small issues.

Super friendly staff, clean and luxurious furnishings. Love the breakfast that was our favorite. Eggs and pancakes made to order! So gooooood!! I’d give them 20 stars if I could! Will definitely be back! Oh don’t forget to tip the cooks. They work hard and was surprised to be one of the first people to do so.

Shower water was not as hot as I would have liked it to be.
