Positives:
Comfortable and roomy room. Large comfortable bed. Friendly staff gave advice on where to eat dinner (can recommend Thunder Island brewery). Good breakfast options in the cafe next door.
Negatives:
Compared to other hotels on our recent travels in the north-west, this was expensive. But there was not much choice in town and it’s in a great spot along the Columbia River.

The bed was very comfortable, air conditioner was great and the water pressure in the shower was awesome!
Negatives:
Our room was not available at check in, when we were told by one agent it would be available at 4. It wasn't. Both the front desk agents we dealt with were not very friendly and offered no assistance, nor did they provide very good service in how they handled the situation. Rooms are not always available at check in, that's fine. But there's a right and wrong way to handle it and sadly they didn't chose the right way.

Location is phenomenal! And the breakfast option next door is incredible, location is one of a few places I enjoy and will be frequenting.
Negatives:
Wish I got a room with a view of the Columbia River. That is what makes the location so great but giving customers a room across from someone with a barking dog is HORRIBLE!

Positives:
Great location in Cascade Locks within walking distance of everything in town and within driving distance of multiple trailheads. Room was spacious and well-equipped. All the staff were fantastic, helpful, polite, and my room was spotless.
Negatives:
Train noise outside took a little getting used to. I can see why ear plugs are provided but pretty quickly I just tuned it out.
