Night CSR for FIRST night (3/6/24) was very nice and helpful, I saw that there were a lot of student/athletes arriving. She assured me that the students rooms were on the 2nd floor and our room was on 3rd floor so we would not to be disturbed. On the SECOND night (3/7/24) the adjoining room had student/athletes that came NOISILY SLAMMING DOORS, etc AT 2 AM ... we asked them to quiet down (thru the adjoining doors) AND THEY SCREAMED AT US THAT THEY PAID FOR THE ROOM AND COULD DO AS THEY LIKE... we called the front desk and the CSR said "oh, yeah, they just came in they are kind-of drunk" we asked that they do something about it ... nothing happened!!! At 4 am more door slamming and then it was quiet. In the morning I asked the woman at the front desk (middle-aged woman) for the NAME OF THE SCHOOL so that I could let them know how their students acted on game-trips. I DID NOT ASK FOR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. She refused to give me any information and suggested by motioning towards the group of students in the lobby that I go confront them if I wanted information. (LIKE I SHOULD GO START A FIGHT IN THE LOBBY??!!) So we let the matter drop - but did ask for the name of the manager so that we could contact him/her later on. The woman CSR went in the back, rummaged around for awhile and gave us a business card. After we got home we realized that she (PURPOSELY) gave us a generic business card with only the address/phone number of the hotel, no manager information. She did not offer to adjust the rate or compensate us in any way for the horrible night that we had. THE STUDENTS SHOULD NOT BE PUT IN ROOMS ADJACENT TO OTHER GUESTS!!! THE COACHES ROOMS SHOULD FLANK THE STUDENTS AND THE COACHES SHOULD BE CALLED IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS. We realize that Choice Hotels would rather rent blocks of 50 rooms to a group rather than ensure that a couple of people in one room are allowed to have a quiet night's sleep.

THE NIGHT STAFF DID NOTHING TO SOLVE THE DRUNKEN PEOPLE MAKING NOISE IN THE ADJACENT ROOM.
THE DAY STAFF WOMAN WAS EVEN WORSE! SHE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT CHOICE HOTELS.

So close and handy to...

The room was clean, and the bed was decently comfortable, which are the main things I care about when staying somewhere. It's located very close to the Evergreen Aviation Museum, which is what we were there for. There's a fantastic restaurant right next to the hotel called The Diner, definitely have breakfast over there if you have time.
Negatives:
The person who checked us in didn't check my ID for the reservation which struck me as odd. The tub in our room was not draining properly and would fill up quickly while taking a shower. The last time I used the toilet before we left it would not flush. I let the front desk know about these two issues, so hopefully they get addressed. There were a lot of doors slamming in the morning, not sure if it was other guests or housekeeping. And one last odd thing, they put a receipt for our stay under our door while we were sleeping.
