Motel 6-Salem OR

Negatives: Workers wasn't doing their job when I ask for a downstairs smoking room they let us waited for 2 days when they know once we ask a downstairs plus speaking to them on the phone when they say they will call me but didn't they let me waited for the next day

Negatives: Room is not clean, it has lots of animal hair, I have kids and the ppl who stayed there used lots of bad language

Negatives: The fact that someone came into our room while my boyfriend was sleeping and stole his phone. Also charged us for an extra night not just for one room but for two rooms. Found something weird in the bath tub

Negatives: Everything

Negatives: The TV never worked. Since I purchased the room for a friend in need, I'm particularly upset about the lack of TV for his comfort and entertainment. Facility is sketchy but the staff wonderful and kind. Someone had attempted to pry open the window to the room and the damage had not been fixed.

Negatives: Cockroach

Negatives: No remote heater doesn't work that well

Negatives: Ok , I know there is a big homeless problem in this country , whether it is due to un employment or drug usage or other addictions ! but at this motel , there seemed to be homeless people milling around everyplace ! We got there around 10:15 pm on 02/26/24 , I took our dog out and noticed there were people out in back of the rooms smoking things ( pretty sure they were not cigarettes ) ! We got put off by the nite clerk for about 10 minutes upon arrival due to an issue that I was told was more important ! As I was waiting for the nite clerk to come back , The local police did a drive thru the parking lot , looking around like they were looking for someone ! When the clerk came back and we got all checked in and given our room key , and we were only given one room key , ( because they did not have enough to give anybody the usual two room keys ) and after taking the dog out for the nite , we went to room 116 ( where we were told to go by the clerk ) , the key did not work so I went back to complain , and by this time , they had placed a sign in the window stating that there were no more vacancies ( basically the sign said " go away , but in nice wording ) ! So I laid on the nite bell and finally someone came to the window and I told them the key did not work , they re programed it and now told us to go to room 111 because room 116 had a smell in it ! And also When I went back to complain about the room key not working , I inquired about the wifi password , and was told it was not working which has never happened before at this motel , and I was also told to let them know that if I needed a microwave , to let them know ! Anyway , We parked by the room and took our stuff out of the car , and immediately as soon as I opened the door , we were hit square in the face by the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the supposedly clean room , and for people like my wife and me , who do not smoke by the way , that should never have happened , !

Negatives: Everything!! Homeless out side my door. Partying and making lots of noise. No microwave or fridge. Place smelled like old musty socks. Worst experience ever I've had in a hotel. Many hotel 6 I'd give a 5 star compared to this hole. Not recommended to anyone.
