Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

FANTASTIC water pressure in the shower and the bed was super comfy

Accessing it was difficult to dangerous depending on the time of day. The place needs a 2nd entry

The mattress needs replaced asap. Huge dip in the mattress visible to the eye. Attempted to sleep in the recliner. Not ideal for anyone let alone with a cervical fusion. Staff upon checkout was very unconcerned about the condition of mattress.

I didnt like that the indoor pool was unusable because thats actually why I picked that place. I wanted an indoor pool for my kid. The pool was way too cold to actually swim in it.

Staff were fantastic, and the room fit our purpose (2 kids, a place to cook and store leftovers)
Negatives:
Mattress and pillows were lackluster. Furniture a bit outdated, thin walls, very scant breakfast.
The area around in Erie, not the downtown proper, is a nightware of multilane commercial properties with safe way for families to travel by foot.
