Room smelled awful like cigarettes. I called the front desk as soon as we got into the room, asked if we were accidentally assigned a smoking room - and she said there arent any smoking rooms. It had definitely been smoked in.

Shampoo/conditioner were empty; decorative handle on bathroom sink was not properly attached so it was hanging by one screw. Biggest issue - I was charged twice for the room - once through booking.com and once by the hotel. When I called to ask about the dupe charge, I was placed on an excessive hold then told that they couldnt see my reservation details because I had already checked out. Well guess what? I cant see the final charge until Ive already checked out! Still waiting for the duplicate room charge to be refunded.
