Residence Inn by Marriott Pittsburgh North Shore

Negatives: Rooms were really worn down, handles broken off drawers, tiles loose in the floor, stained furniture, low quality bed and linens, overall very dirty and dusty. Also, cleaning staff would leave full trash bags for 24 hours in the hallways.

Negatives: The bed (mattress and pillows) and especially the pull out couch was not very comfortable for a hotel. My own bed is much more comfortable. The sheets for the pull out couch were missing, and in another room the TV remote was missing. Breakfast was pretty blasé. We stayed two nights; I think that was limit for how often I could eat it. The bathroom was really dark.

Negatives: Sofa bed was not equipped with bedding, but it was provided on request. Not the most comfortable bed, but it was a good option for us.

Negatives: had to ask a few times for extra towels and washcloths. A/C unit was slightly loud in our room.

Negatives: Check in time. Management should have been prepared for this event.

Negatives: When we arrived they would not let anybody check in early. The quotable quote was everybody want special treatment nobody's getting any. I said this is a Marriott you're supposed to treat everybody special. Got to our room toilet leaked all over the floor. Asked for a transfer they put us in a handicap room got there no pillows hole in the wall. Said that compensate Us by putting points on my bonvoy today no points have been added to my account. I will never stay here again and we stay often on the North Shore. Because we stayed in book through third party they would not compensate and we also felt like we got treated like we were in third class

Negatives: The room and the hotel were very dirty. There was pizza left over in the refrigerator. There were nail clippings on the carpet. There were a lot of stains on the couch. The mattresses on couch and bed were rough. Dust and grime in the corners of the bathroom. And the worst was on one of the end tables looked like small dried leaves. When I smelled it, it smelled like marijuana. This put it over the top for me. There only thing it looks like was done was the bed was changed and new towels. I at least hope. The elevators had trash on the floor that never got cleaned up the whole time we were there.

Negatives: When I booked online it said the totally was $158.46. But when I went to check in they charged me $185.46. I am not one to complain so I didn’t say anything but I am very disappointed.

Negatives: The cleanliness of the rooms and maintenance were not satisfactory. We saw two one-bedroom rooms. They are outdated and require renovation. They are not cleaned well. In addition, the room was not arranged for four, even though we came with two children. The sofa was not ready. The pool didn't work, so my children were disappointed.

Negatives: Parking fee was $27

Negatives: The pool was comical, the pictures were an illusion they definitely caught an angle that made it seem like it were a reasonable size but in actuality it was super small.and certainly crowded.
