It's definitely an old hotel but the room was recently renovated. the carpet was new, the beds were clean, the rooms were basic but spacious. It was a cool mid-century time capsule, and I really appreciated it. The breakfast nook was cozy, right next to a big copper fireplace. Great bang for your buck if you just need somewhere to crash for a day or 2.
Negatives:
The breakfast overall was fine, but the eggs were not good. Waffles and sausage were fine. The hallways could use a little renovation, new carpet and some fresh paint.
