The location was good, a lot of stores close by if you need something. The lobby is beautiful and nice to have the meeting space available. For the price they charge breakfast should be included.

We booked for the indoor pool/hot tub, we went to pool a sign saying closed for renovations. We should have been notified, I want a refund! My TV did work. Room for 4 people only 1 wash cloth and 3 towels. Disappointed. Construction stuff all over lot

This hotel was perfect for my familys needs. The location was great, in a nice quiet area, yet close to everything we needed. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely return to the Sonesta in Middletown if Im in the area again!

Positives:
Nothing comes to mind. We were on the ground floor, there was a slight smell and there was evidence of minor mould on the ceiling probably from condensation or leaks.
Negatives:
There was trash someone had dumped from a fast food meal outside the entrance way as you went in. I thought there was a nice indoor pool, I wasn't told about it by the staff on arrival and never found it. The hotel looks tired and unloved. The receptionist seemed as though she was going through the motions but not really interested in her job. I asked about the bar and she said it only opened for events. I could however have a beer from the 'shop' area which was a positive point although not ideal. Lack of investment and management oversight gives a considerably over-priced mediocre hotel experience. $400 for one night - ridiculous.

Towels left from previous day(s). Loved the indoor to outdoor pool. Temp of water comfortable. Hot tub clean and hot!
