What a hidden gem! The staff was fantastic; from the front desk, wait staff to the valets! Everyone was professional, considerate, helpful and kind! The hotel was well-appointed and clean. Definitely will stay there again!

Like a time capsule. From the entrance to the room the decor is very roaring 20s. It is cool.

maze-like floorplan, long wait times at internal restaurant (90+ minutes) for food unless the appearance of wealth, snooty staff not willing to provide decent service

We wanted to eat breakfast in the restaurant (business trip) and the room was freezing cold so we ended up with a cup of coffee and a muffin in the lobby.

Central location, well appointed reception area. Free coffee, water and snacks were a bonus.

Bed was very uncomfortable - old, saggy and creaky. Whilst central location was good, the hotel is close to a number of shelters / facilities and there were large numbers of people loitering at night, which would have made me feel uncomfortable if I had been travelling alone.
