The staff were welcoming and the place was really clean!
Negatives:
Elevator on the left would sound bad and knock loudly when getting to 5th floor. Another person staying there had their vehicle broken into which didn’t make us feel the best. Since it’s close to a highway we had to make sure the air fan was turned on high so we didn’t hear the constant traffic!

The room was not very clean. Dead bugs by air conditioner. The lock on the bathroom door was broken. The room smelled bad. Dust in multiple places . The wood trim for the bar was broken.

Clean safe and people friendly
Positives:
I learned a hard to swallow lesson.
We were charged, but could not make it to the hotel due to exhaustion. I called the hotel, and said, we can't drive anymore, we are elderly and not feeling well. We had three more hours to drive and we couldn't go any further. Hotel said, contact Booking.com/ Booking.com says, contact the hotel/ 24 hour notice free cancelation. We didn't know 24 hours before that we would feel sick and exhausted. There was no option when Booking to get help in this type of situation.
Lesson learned/
If Booking.com can't help elderly in a desperate situation, do not use Booking.com. They kept our money.
We never used the room.
I appreciate being able to explain my situation and hope that this helps other people not to lose their money if a problem arises.

Lost my money because of a physical hardship that day to make the drive to the hotel. They kept our money and we didn't even use the room. We are elderly, we called the hotel and told them, we can't make it, we are sick from exhaustion and we would have to drive for three more hours to get there and we need to stop driving, now. No one would help us because of the 24 hour notice required. We didn't know 24 hrs. prior that we would be in this situation. We didn't like that no one cared about our situation. They had no problem keeping our money.

The breakfast was terrible. Most items were gone and not replaced while we were eating what little breakfast there was to be had.
