Exterior is beautiful, breakfast was quite nice, location is awesome, we drove 35 min out of the way to stay here. Our room had small damage by the tub and 6 box elder bugs on the floor, so they gave us a balcony room - that was nice.
Negatives:
The pool was a major reason we came but was closed. Would have stayed in Rapid City. Our bathroom had 6 box elder bugs on the floor. My daughter was looking very forward to the bunk bed and disappointed to switch rooms but she would have not liked thebugs

The cleanliness of the rooms, that they accepted our puppies without problems. And the spa inside the room
Negatives:
The breakfast. Not because the food didn't have flavor, but because I felt that I lacked a little more variety to have been a continental breakfast.

Close to lots of attractions and good restaurant. Nice breakfasts. Comfortable bed.

A few crickets and ladybugs in the room, but they are good luck... right?

The front desk was very helpful and nice. Gave us recommendations on where to go for dinner. The patio area was great for sitting and chatting with our friends.

The room was very small but was told it's because it is an older hotel so the rooms are smaller. Our room kind of slanted a little because it was on the side on the building .

Elevator was broken, I have a physical disabilty and was placed on 2nd floor. No rooms available to move me. No hot water, just warm, room was not clean in terms of pet dander and we were having allergic reactions. So far refused to give money back

Location was great. Less than 5 mins from Mt Rushmore. Pool and hot tub was nice. Room was a little small but nice and the price for location was good! No complaints.

It was close to many attractions we wanted to experience. Beautiful location and views! Breakfast had a decent variety.

The room was very small. Hallways were dirty and in need of a quick vacuum our whole stay. Staff seemed lazy and just there to collect a paycheck, not actually work.

The morning staff was excellent and helpful about what to see in the area. The breakfast was good and the coffee was strong. There was plenty of parking near the room. THEY HAD ELEVATORS which is very helpful for some of us with stair issues.

I would rather not say specifics at this point, but I was very upset and disturbed instead of relaxed. I initially went to unwind alone and I am glad my husband arrived later in the evening. Still have not heard from management or corporate to address.
