Sturgis Lodge and Suites

Negatives: The hotel was in disarray as they were remodeling. The air conditioning was turned off even thought temps were in the upper 70's. One of the rooms had bugs under the sheets and another rooms floor was saturated.

Negatives: It was filthy!

Negatives: Management is clearly stingy, they own multiple hotels in the area and this one looks close to abandoned with peeling exterior paint, falling down sign facade, abandoned casino attached t hotel empty. Cleaning staff only on hand every three days. Half our party was given keys to a dirty room- possibly occupied? Our suite was supposed to have a pull out couch but couch was literally missing. Request for roll out bed gave us a worn out and stained example of gross.

Negatives: The AC was shut off in the facility and the room was 80 degrees. Asked for a different room with an outside window and when we got in it, there were no tv remotes. Went to office for a remote and none they had worked so we only watched 1 channel cuz the channels wouldnt change. Most of the outlets in the room didnt work so we took turns charging our phones. 2nd day there the room door was covered by wasps in the afternoon and had to make the front desk find wasp spray so we could even get to our room.

Negatives: Cleanliness

Negatives: It was dirty, when we walked into our room the bed wasnt even made super gross.

Negatives: We stayed by the pool, which we liked, so we didnt need to haul our luggage upstairs. There was a very loud sound by the rooms & the sound ran all night. Possibly an air intake system, which made sleeping difficult.
